STAFF WIN BRONZE MEDAL AT BRICS GAMES IN KAZAN

Kolkata, 18 June 2024: Metro Railway’s women Table Tennis players have made all Metromen and Indian Railways fraternity proud again!

Indian women’s Table Tennis team, comprising 3 (three) players including Moumita Dutta and Poymantee Baisya, both Metro staff have won bronze Medal in the BRICS Games, 2024 being held at Kazan, Russia. Yashini Sivasankar has been the third member of this team. This International Championship is being held there from 12th to 23rd June, in which 12 teams have participated in the Table Tennis event.

In the semi-final match of the women’s Table Tennis team event, the Indian Table Tennis team lost to China by 1-3.
